Well I haven't written in awhile but I'm still here. Lately I've been intrested in baking cakes , I guess because I wanted to take my mind off of worries are little boy had surgery about three weeks ago an his recovery is going well a little set back here an there. So anyway I've made two cakes so far making a third tonight any advice?

I made a asparagus melon fresh mozzerella salad . It was very good. I got the recipe from giada at home cook book. It was easy to make which is good. This Saturday is my parents 34th anniversary so I'm doing a suprise dinner at my house. I'm going to attempt to decorate these chocolate fudge cookies. Hope hope hope it turns out. Will let ya know how it goes. If anyone is reading my blog?

question to moms out there

Anyone no how to loose some of the post baby weight not to be super skinny just a little trimmer. Any mom out there?

sick day

Do moms really get a sick ? Answer NO!!!!!!!! Had to take my son to the doctor he has chest congestion funny nose. Lovely!!!! We were up last night cause he was so sick , then at 2a.m. had to drive to Walmart to get a vaporizer. Anyone else have to make a run like this, oh an no no chic mama at two a.m. with no sleep far from it. But maybe on the inside.

still day two

Had a nice Friday so far went to run earrnds ( don't know if I spelled that right) an then had lunch with one of my sisters an my younger brother. Had a very nice time we don't get to do that often . Today I was mommy casual chic an might I add I looked like a human Woohoo! Misson accomplished for today. Wore a polo red shirt with tshirt under neath an blue jeans. Ladies whats your favorite casual mommy outing outfit? Let me know :)

truly a mom thing

So I yesterday I did truly as I'm told a mom thing, I was leaving with my husband an son to a religious meeting. While we were there I my shoes felt a little funny I looked down an had two different shoes on. An I mean two differnt one was a wedge black shiny round shoe an the other was a black pointy toed heel. I know total mommy head in clouds not thinking moment, but we had a good laugh. :) Anyone else have mommy shoe mishaps?

first post

So I decided I would put my thoughts out there of everyday life as wife an mama. Sometimes with everything you have going on since being a first time mom you don't feel so hot. I always see in magazines the very "chic" moms who have the kids but look like they have never had kids. Ahh, its like I don't an won't ever role out of bed after being up all night because my kid is crying an look like a super model. Lol! That's why being an everyday chic mama in my own right is what I live an like. An everyday chic mama is not to take away from women that can an do look like models. This is the style of the mama who walks by the mirror in the morning an thinks "Yes" I look like a human today, an you may actually put on clothes that aren't sweat pants or stained with anything from your kids, an your husband will say there's my wife.( my husband says I always look good) which is sweet, because most the time I look like I never went to sleep an not in the good way. So I will be here to talk , share recipes for quick an great dinners, to talk about everyday mom stuff who are chic in there own way.:)
